Which Little Live Pet for which age

Which Little Live Pet for which age

Age four: one pet, one routine

At four, the best pet is the one that reacts the moment it is touched. My Baby Koala Kiki yawns and munches her leaf, My Baby Panda ChuChu kicks and uses his potty, and Cozy Dozys Ginger closes her eyes when she is wrapped up. There is nothing to assemble and nothing to read.

Mama Surprise Kittens also works at this age with a grown-up nearby: feed Mama, set her in the basket, find a kitten.

Age five: build, heal and walk

Five is when setup becomes part of the fun. My Puppy’s Home asks for a kennel to be built before the puppy shows up. Ouchies Cooper and Hazel need a splint and a wet bandage wrapped into a cast. Walking pets like Piggly and Waddles add a leash and a mode button.

Six and up: collect and keep score

Older children like a system. Mama Surprise Families has sticker sheets and family cards that show which pups are missing. NeeDees keep a care score and sing when it gets high enough. The talking birds, Rosie and Indie, turn into a recording game that lasts well past the first week.
